Meet Attorney Elizabeth A. Hohauser
When looking for an attorney to handle your legal issues, you need someone you can trust. Experience, reputation and a history of success are all important to that trust. You also need someone you can talk to, someone who truly cares about helping you get the results you need.
Attorney Elizabeth (Liz) Hohauser is a trusted Rochester attorney with 20 years of legal experience, and she is here to help you.
Liz Is Local
Born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan, Liz came back to Rochester to raise her own family and practice law. Her office is located in downtown Rochester. Liz loves Rochester and is active in the community both as a parent and attorney.
Liz Is Smart
Attorney Elizabeth Hohauser graduated from University of Detroit Mercy Law School in 1999, at the top of her class. In law school, she was a member of the Frank Murphey Honor Society and won several Book Awards – all while raising her son who was born in the middle of her second year! She stays current with her education by regularly attending various trainings and seminars.
Liz Gives Back
Attorney Hohauser is an active member of the Oakland County Bar Association. She serves on the Law Related Education Committee. Liz is enrolled in a State Bar program that provides free legal services to the victims of human trafficking. Liz also finds time to volunteer at her daughter’s school.
Liz Is Committed To Kids
Liz was a teacher before law school. Her decision to go to law school was based largely on her desire to help children. She is the biological mother of three kids and has been a foster mom. Liz’s desire to help kids is apparent in the way she practices law. Not only does she practice juvenile law, but she also practices family law, criminal law and personal injury law with special attention to the effect the legal system has on the children involved. If Liz drafts your estate plan, she will pay close attention to all matters affecting your children.
Liz herself is divorced. She knows firsthand how emotionally difficult divorce can be. She and her ex-husband successfully co-parent their two children. Liz knows that a “good” divorce is less traumatic for children than a “bad” divorce, and she is committed to helping people not only survive a divorce but also successfully co-parent during and after the process. If you have been in an abusive relationship, Liz will fight to protect you and your children from further abuse.
Family has always been Liz’s priority. Not just her family, but other people’s too.
Liz Is Connected
Liz has been a lawyer for 20 years. If Liz cannot help with your particular legal matter, she can introduce you to the specific lawyer who will meet your needs.
