Did you know that we have a Super Drunk Driving law in Michigan?
The Super Drunk charge applies to people with .17 or higher blood alcohol content. People convicted of Super Drunk Driving face some pretty steep penalties – even on a first offense! Those increased penalties can include:
- 6 months in jail;
- $700 in fines;
- 360 hours of community service;
- 1 year of substance abuse treatment;
- Minimum 1 year of licensing sanctions;
- Interlock device in your car. (If you are caught driving without an interlock the sanctions are even more severe!)
